Coffee Roastery Manager

Roastery Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Passion and enthusiasm for specialty coffee
Minimum of 5 years of Management experience
Strong motivation with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
Proven time management and task prioritization skills
Strong problem-solving ability with hands-on activities
Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment requirements
Proficiency with Google Docs and digital organizational tools
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds (weights over 50 pounds with assistance)
Ability to perceive the taste and smell of roasted coffee
Effective communication with employees, vendors, and clients
Ability work a flexible work schedule, inclsuiding weekends

Roastery Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee roasting, packaging, and shipping operations in a 1,500 sq ft roastery
Oversee all safety protocols and ensure product quality
Build and maintain relationships with grocery clients and specialty partners
Coordinate and participate in local events, primarily on weekends
Manage Green Bean sourcing and purchasing for the roastery
Develop and distribute specialized marketing kits to partners, content creators,
Hire, train staff, and evaluate performance.
