Dining Room Manager – Premier High-Volume Italian Concept
An iconic, high-volume Italian restaurant in the Rosemont area is seeking a polished Dining Room Manager who leads from the floor with confidence and operational discipline. Dining Room Manager Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an upscale or fine-dining full-service restaurant
• Strong beverage knowledge across wine, spirits, and beer, including tableside wine service
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to guide servers, hosts, and bar staff during peak service
• Proven ability to oversee dining room flow, pacing, seating strategy, and overall floor operations
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining elevated service standards
• Strong skill in resolving guest issues with professionalism and warmth
• Ability to train, coach, and provide in-the-moment feedback to develop a high-performing team
• Consistent track record ensuring full compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Collaboration with culinary teams to maintain timing, quality, and presentation standards
Preferred Background & Skills
• Experience within Chicago’s high-volume dining landscape
• Strong business acumen and comfort reviewing sales, labor, and service metrics
• Exposure to multi-unit or long-established hospitality groups
• Passion for mentorship, service innovation, and cultivating a strong team culture
