Assistant Principal – Florida, with training in the New York City area.

Assistant Principal Benefits & Compensation

  • Year-one earning potential up to $90K–$95K (base salary and cost of living increases)
  • Two $5K moving bonuses (for relocation to New York and Florida)
  • In Florida: $80K base plus $12K bonus paid in October 2027
  • Career progression toward principal within three years

Assistant Principal Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (field of study not critical)
  • 1–5 years of professional experience in teaching or leadership
  • Practical adult management experience
  • Strong communication, confidence, and clarity
  • Consistent work history with demonstrated commitment
  • No certifications or licensure required

Assistant Principal Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience with people management and team development
  • Highly organized, resilient, and adaptable mindset
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and act on feedback
  • Ambition, strong sense of ownership, and high standards for results
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Assistant Principal Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop, coach, and hold teachers accountable for high-quality instructional delivery and student achievement
  • Partner closely with the Principal to lead school-wide systems, professional development, and family engagement
  • Take ownership over multiple grade levels and content areas to ensure academic and instructional excellence
  • Set clear expectations and drive rapid improvement through feedback and teamwork
  • Model and reinforce a high-performance school culture for both adults and students
  • Prepare for future leadership by mastering all aspects of school operations and culture stewardship
