Our client is growing and looking for an experienced Licensed Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. With over 50 years of industry expertise, we provide geotechnical, geological, environmental, and materials testing services for public and private sector projects across California.
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 annually
What You’ll Do
- Lead geotechnical and geological investigations for a variety of construction projects
- Manage projects from planning through completion
- Perform field inspections, testing, engineering analysis, and report preparation
- Review plans, specifications, and construction drawings
- Prepare proposals, budgets, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams
- Provide technical expertise and practical solutions throughout project lifecycles
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering
- California GE, PG, or CEG license preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- 5+ years of geotechnical or geological engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of soil/rock mechanics and California building codes
- Experience with geotechnical engineering software and construction inspections
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
