Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Requirements & Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a commercial or restaurant setting required
Refrigeration, HVAC, and EPA Certification required
Valid driver’s license for service call responsibilities
Able to learn new skills and adapt quickly
Proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork
Strong communication abilities

Maintenance Technician Preferred Background & Skills

Experience with restaurant equipment, fryers, ice machines, and shake machines
Plumbing and mechanical aptitude
Comfortable operating tools and handling minor facility repairs (tile, painting, light electrical, plumbing)
Familiarity with designing and installing HVAC systems
Proficiency in equipment repair related to commercial kitchens

Maintenance Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various restaurant equipment and facility systems
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and cooking equipment
Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and replace defective parts as needed
Complete service calls promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations
Support general managers and restaurant teams with ongoing maintenance needs
Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
