Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, making real-time adjustments to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resource allocation.
• Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and minimizing potential overruns.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment for all on-site personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest level of workmanship and quality throughout the project.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to address project challenges and provide progress updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and change orders.
• Identify potential risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to maximize their potential.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience
• NYCDOB Registration
• NYC DOB SST Card
• OSHA 30
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Construction Superintendent Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary- $105,000-125,000
• Healthcare package -80% company paid
• 401k match
