We are seeking a Strategic Small Business Sourcer to build and develop a high-impact supplier network supporting complex federal projects across infrastructure, energy, and mission-critical environments.

This is not a traditional procurement role. This position focuses on proactively identifying, qualifying, and positioning small business partners to strengthen competitive advantage in federal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of small business suppliers aligned to project scopes and geographies
  • Identify and qualify partners across construction, engineering, and technical trades
  • Translate project requirements into supplier capabilities
  • Partner with proposal teams to support active pursuits
  • Ensure supplier readiness for both proposal and execution phases
  • Maintain supplier data, performance insights, and market intelligence

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years in sourcing, procurement, supplier development, or federal contracting
  • Experience working with small business programs (SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB)
  • Ability to interpret SOWs and align suppliers accordingly
  • Strong Excel and data tracking skills
  • Experience in federal, construction, or technical project environments preferred

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive “builder” who can develop supplier networks, not just manage them
  • Strong relationship-builder with a focus on long-term partnerships
  • Ability to operate with speed and structure in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details:

  • Location: On-site (Tysons Corner, VA area preferred)
  • Travel: Up to 15%
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
