An International Hotel Brand seeks an experienced HANDS-ON Hotel General Manager to lead its team in executing the highest level of Guest Service at one of its properties in Downtown Chicago. The Ideal Candidate will possess a strong tenure at 4 to 5-Star Hotel or Resort properties. The Ideal Candidate will embody the role of Ambassador to elevate the Guest experience to the highest level. Hotel General Manager Benefits:

Salary – $125,000 to $135,000
Bonus based on performance
Medical plans with contributions
PTO
401K plan

Hotel General Manager Responsibilities:

Lead and develop team members
Identify all property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
Create a memorable Guest experience
Oversee and manage overall operations of the Hotel, including but not limited to Front Office, Sales, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering

Hotel General Manager Qualifications:

3+ years of 4 to 5-Star Hotel or Resort experience as General Manager in Chicago is a must!
HANDS-ON Leadership
Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
Thrive in an ever-changing & fast-paced environment
Need to be able to analyze a P&L to ensure cost controls
Ability to analyze Guest Service reports and recognize market trends
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
