Bi-Lingual- Procurement Manager
An established food manufacturing organization is seeking a procurement professional to oversee sourcing of ingredients, packaging, and supplies. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on supply chain performance and food safety compliance while working alongside cross-functional teams committed to innovation and quality.

Procurement Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5–8+ years of procurement experience, ideally in food manufacturing or CPG
- Deep understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, FSMA, GMP)
- Experience sourcing perishable and commodity-based materials
- Proven negotiation and supplier management background
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Procurement Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Food manufacturing experience
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or HACCP Certification
- Knowledge of supplier risk management and traceability
- Commodity market analysis and cost control expertise
- Leadership and team development experience
Procurement Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies
- Source and qualify suppliers to maintain high food safety and quality standards
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and agreements to ensure cost efficiency and continuous supply
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to maintain compliance with FDA, USDA, and other standards
- Monitor commodity markets to mitigate supply and pricing risks
- Oversee inventory levels, minimizing waste and stockouts while supporting production targets
- Evaluate and drive supplier performance through ongoing audits and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including specifications and traceability records
