We are partnering with a well-established, family-owned boutique commercial finance firm in the San Francisco Bay Area seeking a high-performing Commercial Loan Originator to help drive continued growth and expand its lending relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial lending professional who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and creating new business opportunities. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a smaller organization, competitive earning potential, and the opportunity to grow into a key leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Originate commercial real estate and business loans throughout California, including short-term and hard money financing.
- Leverage and expand an established network of referral partners, lenders, developers, attorneys, and real estate professionals.
- Develop correspondent lending relationships with banks and outside lenders.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of commercial lending clients.
- Manage transactions from initial application through successful closing.
- Represent the firm at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership on business development and growth strategies.
What You Bring
- Active California Real Estate License — Required
- 5+ years of commercial lending experience with a proven track record of production.
- Established referral network and correspondent lending relationships.
- Strong understanding of commercial loan products, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and relationship management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
- Ambition to grow professionally and potentially step into executive leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Up to $100,000 annually
- Competitive Commission Structure with strong earning potential.

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in one of the following California counties: Alameda, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, or Marin.
