Construction Billing Specialist Requirements & Qualifications

• Hands-on FOUNDATION ERP experience required
• Minimum 3 years of construction billing or accounts receivable experience
• Experience with AIA G702/G703 progress billing
• Knowledge of job costing, retainage, change orders, and lien releases
• Experience with AR aging, collections, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Construction contractor or subcontractor background preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Construction Billing Specialist Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices and AIA progress billing applications
• Utilize FOUNDATION ERP to manage project billing and financial records
• Review contracts, purchase orders, job budgets, and change orders
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing
• Track retainage, contract values, and lien releases
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and aging reports
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close and accounting reports
