We are partnering with a rapidly growing hospitality and food service company seeking a Director of Catering Operations to lead and scale a high-volume catering and group dining business across multiple locations.
This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for driving execution, building infrastructure, developing teams, and creating scalable systems that support continued growth. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to lead large-scale operations while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead catering and group order operations across multiple locations
- Develop and implement scalable operational systems, procedures, and standards
- Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Oversee execution of high-volume catering and breakfast programs
- Build, mentor, and develop catering leadership teams
- Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy and operational planning
- Ensure excellence in food quality, presentation, safety, packaging, and client experience
- Manage operational performance metrics, reporting, and accountability systems
- Support business development efforts and maintain key client relationships
- Evaluate and improve workflows, staffing structures, and production allocation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-unit catering, hospitality, restaurant, or food service operations leadership experience
- Proven success managing high-volume catering programs and multiple operating units
- Strong operational, financial, and organizational leadership skills
- Experience developing teams, systems, and scalable operational infrastructure
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and operational compliance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience with catering platforms, operational systems, and reporting tools preferred
