CNC Manufacturing Operations Manager
Billerica, MA | $145,000–$185,000 + Bonus

Requirements & Qualifications
- 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within CNC machining
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling and turning operations
- Experience managing multiple teams, departments, or shifts
- Background in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Proven success improving productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Must Haves
- Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or other precision manufacturing environments
- Lead daily operations across CNC milling and turning departments
- Drive production performance through effective scheduling, labor planning, and workflow management
- Develop supervisors, machinists, and future leaders through coaching and cross-training
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, efficiency, and quality
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence
Preferred Background & Skills
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- ERP/MRP system proficiency
- Experience leading organizational change, growth, or process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred
