Production Supervisor (1st Shift)

Production Supervisor (1st Shift) Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Required to become a Licensed Boiler Operator.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to understand and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Competence in basic mathematical calculations and concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Basic knowledge of computers and manufacturing software.
- Ability to stand and walk for the full shift, use hands for equipment operation, and perform tasks requiring close vision and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to work in an environment exposed to extreme temperatures, loud noise, and occasionally high places.
Production Supervisor (1st Shift) Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with routine reporting and effective communication in group settings.
- Proven ability to apply common sense and follow instructions delivered orally, in writing, or diagram form.
Production Supervisor (1st Shift) Operator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient performance.
- Follow detailed safety and operating procedures at all times.
- Complete routine reporting and maintain daily logs related to boiler operation.
- Perform basic maintenance and report issues to supervisors.
- Assist with troubleshooting problems involving equipment or processes.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
