About the Opportunity:
Growing and well established law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving media law and intellectual property disputes, including defamation, copyright, and trademark litigation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build or deepen a niche in media and IP litigation within a collaborative, growth-oriented firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage litigation matters involving:
- Defamation and media-related disputes
- Copyright and trademark issues
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality:
- Motions
- Briefs
- Memoranda
- Assist with case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex litigation matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Top 25% academic credentials required
- 3–4+ years of litigation experience
- Experience in media law or intellectual property litigation
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage assignments with increasing independence
- Louisiana license in good standing
