Mid-Sized Digital Media Company seeking a diligent and analytical staff accountant to support general accounting operations within a multi-media organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

· Assist accounts receivable billings and support AR collections.

· Support weekly and monthly bank statement reconciliations.

· Support daily cash receipts activities.

· Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice preparation, coding, processing payments, and handling related financial transactions.

· Prepare revenue and expense journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.

· Point person of T&E administration through Concur platform.

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

· Provides outside CPA with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents for CPA prepared corporate tax returns.

· Helps file certain other required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • · Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Quickbook (preferred) and Excel (required) experience
  • 2-4 years' experience
