Position Overview

The Executive Chef oversees all culinary operations, crafting a hospitality-driven dining experience that enriches residents’ daily lives. This role blends culinary excellence, nutrition, and compassionate service, with a strong, hands-on leadership presence.


Executive Chef Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute flavorful, nutritionally balanced menus tailored to dietary needs (low-sodium, diabetic, texture-modified, allergen-conscious).
  • Engage with residents to gather feedback and elevate the overall dining experience.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the culinary team, fostering accountability and a positive culture.
  • Oversee kitchen operations including purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Create special events, themed menus, and interactive dining programs.

Executive Chef Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Solid financial and operational acumen.
  • ServSafe certification required (or obtainable); culinary degree preferred.

Salary Range- $90,000 plus bonus and benefits
