Position Overview

The Executive Chef oversees all culinary operations, crafting a hospitality-driven dining experience that enriches residents’ daily lives. This role blends culinary excellence, nutrition, and compassionate service, with a strong, hands-on leadership presence.

Executive Chef Responsibilities

Develop and execute flavorful, nutritionally balanced menus tailored to dietary needs (low-sodium, diabetic, texture-modified, allergen-conscious).
Engage with residents to gather feedback and elevate the overall dining experience.
Lead, coach, and mentor the culinary team, fostering accountability and a positive culture.
Oversee kitchen operations including purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and cost control.
Manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Create special events, themed menus, and interactive dining programs.

Executive Chef Qualifications

5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred).
Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions.
Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Solid financial and operational acumen.
ServSafe certification required (or obtainable); culinary degree preferred.

Salary Range- $90,000 plus bonus and benefits
