Executive Chef

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience in high-volume kitchens.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Proven ability to manage kitchen operations and staff effectively.

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills

Experience in menu development and event coordination.
Familiarity with inventory management and cost control systems.

Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Coordinate daily Back-of-House operations to ensure efficiency.
Set daily production pars to minimize waste and optimize workflow.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion standards.
Conduct line checks and tastings to maintain food quality and consistency.
Manage food costs and vendor relationships, ensuring strong pricing agreements.
Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
