Location: New York City

Salary: $130,000 – $160,000

We are partnering with a fast-growing, NYC-based hospitality group operating multiple restaurant concepts, a central kitchen, and additional business lines. The organization is expanding and building out its internal infrastructure, creating an opportunity for a strong, hands-on accounting leader to make a real impact.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Corporate Controller position — not a high-level, strategic-only role.

We are looking for someone who is actively involved in the day-to-day accounting, including owning the monthly close, managing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

This role will play a key part in helping build structure, improve processes, and support a growing, operationally complex business.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute monthly close (hands-on)
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage multi-entity accounting and consolidations
Oversee financial reporting across business units
Monitor cash flow and support forecasting
Oversee payroll, AP/AR, and inventory accounting
Analyze cost performance and unit-level P&Ls
Improve accounting processes and internal controls
Partner with internal teams to build structure and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on accounting experience (currently in the details)
Experience owning monthly close end-to-end
Multi-entity accounting and consolidation experience
Background in hospitality, restaurant, retail, food, or similar industries
Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and operational P&Ls
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment
Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Ability to communicate in Mandarin (does not need to be fluent)

Nice to Have

CPA
Experience with lender or investor reporting
Experience in a scaling or high-growth company
Exposure to central kitchen or multi-revenue stream operations
