The first California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) was opened in Beverly Hills in 1985. The California twist on global flavors intrigued guests and CPK quickly became the popular spot where family and friends could gather over a fresh piece of pie. CPK experienced rapid growth and expanded across states and soon became international.
While the company continued to grow CPK quickly realized that they needed help connecting with employees across all locations. Together cfactor Works Inc. and California Pizza Kitchen have received the Gold Awards in the Best Advance in Employee Engagement category from the Brandon Hall Group. Both will be formally recognized at the Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference.
