We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Director of Finance to lead all financial operations. This is a key leadership position requiring a deep understanding of gaming industry regulations, financial compliance, and the inner workings of a casino finance department.
Director of Finance Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, revenue, cage operations, and asset accounting
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and the protection of company assets
- Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting to support short- and long-term planning
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Develop, lead, and mentor the finance team, maintaining high performance and morale
- Enforce financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
- Partner with executive leadership and vendors on financial planning and operational strategy
- Monitor payroll, expenditures, and revenue performance to ensure profitability
- Maintain a general awareness of casino operations and performance at all times
Director of Finance Qualifications:
- CPA preferred but a degree is mandatory in accounting and/or finance
- 5+ years of recent, relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Must be able to apply for a Colorado Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License
