Seeking a Junior Corporate Attorney to support a large and growing family-owned organization across legal, compliance, employment, privacy, and operational matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys business operations and wants exposure to a broad range of corporate legal issues rather than specializing in a single practice area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Support privacy, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
- Assist with consumer data governance reviews.
- Investigate employee complaints and workplace issues.
- Review contracts and vendor relationships.
- Advise business leaders on legal and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with outside counsel.
- Draft policies, procedures, and internal guidance documents.
- Support litigation and employment-related matters.
- Participate in strategic projects across multiple business units.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Wisconsin license preferred or ability to obtain.
- 1–5 years of legal experience preferred.
- Corporate, employment, compliance, privacy, or litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfortable interacting directly with business leadership.
