Cafe General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant
- Passion for hospitality and exceptional service
- Proven ability to achieve key performance indicators
- Strong financial skills with experience in P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
- Coaching and mentoring skills for team development
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
- Team player comfortable with hands-on leadership
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- DOH Accreditation and/or ServSafe Certification

- Enforce quality standards and steps of service, ensuring consistency in every shift
- Manage profitability by meeting sales, cost of goods, and labor goals
- Guide and develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
- Uphold health, safety, and ServSafe standards consistently
- Engage with the local community to reinforce the company’s values and neighborhood presence
