Retail General Manager – Waikoloa Village, HI

Retail General Manager Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary of $75,000
- $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid in two installments: $1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 1 year)

Retail General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar multi-unit or general merchandise manager role within retail, hospitality, or experiential environments
- Proven expertise in assortment planning, buying, inventory management, and sales analysis
- Demonstrated leadership in diverse, high-performing teams with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a P&L, collaborate cross-functionally, and build relationships with partners
- Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands frequently; ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Retail General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in experiential, specialty, or branded retail (such as Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Build-A-Bear, etc.)
- Experience working closely with venue partners in hospitality or attractions settings
- Hands-on leadership style with small retail teams (key holders, sales associates)
- Strong creative merchandising and visual presentation skills
Retail General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team across three retail locations within the resort
- Drive operational excellence, sales growth, and an outstanding guest experience
- Ensure adherence to company policies, visual standards, and partner expectations
- Collaborate with resort partners to identify opportunities and resolve issues
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members at all levels
- Maintain inventory accuracy, analyze sales trends, and implement best practices
