This role partners closely with the Executive Chef to lead the back-of-house team, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth, disciplined service. Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of culinary leadership experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Proven ability to lead kitchen operations in a high-volume, full-service environment
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and food cost control
- Ability to train, coach, and hold BOH team members accountable
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work the line during peak service
Sous Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in seafood-driven or coastal dining concepts
- Proven execution in private dining events
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and solutions-oriented during busy services
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with FOH leadership
