Restaurant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-service restaurant management experience, including General Manager leadership
- Proven ability to oversee FOH and BOH operations with a focus on execution and guest satisfaction
- Strong background in labor management, scheduling, cost control, and P&L oversight
- Experience hiring, training, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor during peak service periods
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
Restaurant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in high-volume, casual or polished-casual dining concepts
- Track record of improving operational consistency and team accountability
- Strong local presence and ability to build guest loyalty and repeat business
- New Restaurant Opening experience preferred
