A growing Midwest based general contractor is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead commercial and multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects while partnering closely with field leadership clients and internal teams.
Project Manager or Senior Project Manager What You Will Do
- Lead projects through preconstruction construction and closeout phases
- Manage project budgets schedules contracts and overall financial performance
- Coordinate with superintendents to plan manpower materials and construction sequencing
- Oversee subcontract procurement buyout and contract administration
- Manage change orders cost control and risk mitigation efforts
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure schedule adherence
- Ensure quality safety and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead owner architect and subcontractor meetings
- Manage billing payment applications and cash flow
- Prepare monthly progress reports and cost projections
- Support estimating business development and client relationships as needed
Project Manager or Senior Project Manager What You Bring
- Multifamily construction experience required
- Three to five years experience for Project Manager level
- Five to ten years experience for Senior Project Manager level
- Experience managing projects up to 20MM for PM and up to 50MM for Senior PM
- Four year construction related degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of contracts scheduling budgeting and construction operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Strong leadership communication and decision making skills
