General Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily front-of-house operations with a laser focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver memorable guest experiences
- Drive guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and team engagement
- Manage budgets, labor, food cost controls, and financial targets for a $10M+ annual volume restaurant
- Build and maintain a positive, accountable, and high-energy culture
- Serve as a hands-on leader who models professionalism, urgency, and teamwork
General Manager Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of General Manager experience in an upscale, full-service, high-volume environment
- Proven success managing $10M+ in annual sales
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, train, and develop teams
- Passion for exceptional food, polished service, and consistent guest satisfaction
- Positive, solutions-driven mindset with an ownership mentality
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, cost controls, and operational systems
General Manager Preferred Experience:
- Background in high-volume dining or steakhouse concepts
- Familiarity with modern restaurant management tools, POS systems, and reporting dashboards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in training programs, staff development, and performance management
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and guest-forward environment
