Our client is a general contractor that is looking to fill a Construction Project Manager position in the Blacksburg, VA area.
Project Manager – Commercial Construction Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing project budgets, resource allocation, scheduling, financial performance, project submittals, subcontractor management, and quality control for each assigned project
- Coordinate and facilitate all collaboration and update meetings with clients and project teams, from Pre-Construction through Final Completion
- Prepare and submit project schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages
- Establish and enforce quality control and safety standards on the job site and ensure adherence by direct reports and subcontractors
Project Manager – Commercial Construction Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 3+ years of construction industry experience with project management responsibility, to include client interface and financial performance and cost reporting
- Experience with Prolog or other project management software required
- Understanding of civil engineering design and construction standards, preferably in high-rise building applications (or other civil/structural applications)
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and delegate effectively to a diverse team of subcontractors while maintaining control of project budget and timeline
Superintendent Compensation Highlights:
- $125K – $140K annually
