Closing Paralegal – Atlanta, GA

Closing Paralegal Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Real Estate or Closing Paralegal.
- Proficiency with Soft Pro or comparable closing software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High commitment to accuracy, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Closing Paralegal Preferred Background & Skills
- Knowledge of investor, assignment, and joint venture transactions is a plus.
- Ability to balance multiple transactions and work with urgency under tight deadlines.
Closing Paralegal Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review files to confirm all required documents are present and accurate.
- Communicate with lenders, agents, and clients to satisfy all closing requirements and timelines.
- Prepare Settlement Statements, ALTA statements, and related closing documents.
- Verify data accuracy within Soft Pro, including legal descriptions, loan terms, title, and party details.
- Coordinate funding numbers, prepare disbursement statements, and ensure balanced escrow accounts.
- Deposit funds into appropriate accounts and maintain detailed escrow ledgers.
- Prepare and issue final title policies for both owner and lender.
- Oversee payoffs, wire transfers, and document delivery immediately following closings.
- Provide assistance to Pre-Closing staff and collaborate with attorneys and team members as needed.
- Uphold exceptional client service standards with prompt, courteous, and professional communication.
