Seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer to serve as a discipline lead in our Albuquerque office. This role supports complex projects across government, healthcare, higher education, and industrial facilities and offers the opportunity to lead plumbing design efforts from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with consultants and clients, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high-quality, code-compliant designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plumbing system design, equipment selection, and plan development
- Prepare specifications and cost estimates
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients
- Perform field investigations and support design coordination
- Mentor and guide junior designers and engineers
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of plumbing design experience in a consulting engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of building, plumbing, fire, energy, fuel gas codes, NFPA standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software
- Project management and leadership experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
