General Manager Job Description:
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver superior guest services
- Participate in local food events
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Hire new employees and maintain/update personnel files as needed
- Perform regular payroll audits while maintaining and enforcing payroll policies and procedures.
- Nurture a positive working environment
General Manager Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role
- Extensive food and wine knowledge
- Experience in event planning
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Good financial management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work long hours and a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
