We are now interviewing for the position of Director of Food and Beverage at a luxury resort.
- Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of the house with a management team
- Develop and recommend budgets, marketing plans, and objectives,, and manage within the approved plans.
- Participate in the Hotel Leadership Committee
- Direct and oversee the development of colleagues
- Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budget for F&B operations.
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
- Key liaison with Chef partner and third-party restaurant vendors
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior-level F&B management role, with at least 3 years as a Director required
- Experience at a hotel managing multiple food and beverage outlets, including banquets, is required
- Upscale restaurant management experience is preferred
- Union experience is a plus
- Experience with building teams from hourly positions through all levels of leadership positions
- Strong financial acumen
- Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concepts, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
