Maintenance & Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of spare parts for mission-critical systems
- Support on-site teams with technical troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to confirm service requests
- Oversee procurement for both domestic and international parts and equipment
- Identify and recommend preferred brands and suppliers for key components
- Schedule and coordinate logistics, including international shipping and customs clearance
- Track KPIs related to part usage, procurement timelines, and maintenance activities
- Maintain SOPs for supply chain and maintenance processes
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance on cross-functional projects
- Conduct supplier vetting, quality inspections, and on-site visits as necessary
Maintenance & Supply Chain Coordinator Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical purchasing, logistics, or equipment maintenance support
- Proficiency with ERP systems, ticketing platforms, and inventory management tools
- Ability to read and validate part numbers from technical documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, including potential international travel
Maintenance & Supply Chain Coordinator Skills & Experience
- Background in aviation, manufacturing, entertainment, or technical facilities
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs documentation
- Experience with CMMS or ticket-based maintenance software
- Ability to create structure in dynamic or fast-changing environments
- Experience in cost analysis, vendor negotiations, or supplier quality assurance
