Hospitality Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving market share growth
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling a sales team
- Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including corporate, group, and leisure markets
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to Cincinnati
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable automobile
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure with multiple deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and take initiative
- Must be able to lift weights of 20 lbs, 55 lbs, and 165 lbs occasionally
Hospitality Sales Director Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies
- Proficiency in digital marketing and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain a robust network of corporate clients
- Experience in executing events and managing event coordination
- Knowledge of community and hospitality industry networking events
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to fostering a positive team culture
