Electrical Engineer – R&D (Scientific Instrumentation) Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test electrical systems for advanced instrumentation.
- Apply physics and mathematical modeling to solve measurement and signal-processing challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams including software, mechanical, and product design.
- Develop algorithms and circuitry for non-destructive testing and material verification.
- Conduct experiments, collect data, and refine designs for improved accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and support quality assurance processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in sensing, electronics, and materials science.
Electrical Engineer – R&D (Scientific Instrumentation) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Strong background in problem-solving, experimental methods, and modeling of physical systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and testing circuits, sensors, and signal-processing systems.
- Proficiency with design and simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or COMSOL.
- Prior experience with scientific instrumentation, precision measurement, or non-destructive testing preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative R&D setting.
