Director of Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the IT strategy, vision, and roadmap that supports the business strategy and delivers value to stakeholders.
- Establish and direct the strategic long-term goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
- Manage partnerships, serving as the main liaison between our company and our external partners, ensuring quality service levels, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership and external IT vendor to determine the organization's long-term systems needs and any hardware acquisitions needed to accomplish the organization's business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance on high-priority projects and orient the company to trends in the information technology industry.
- Manage and optimize the IT budget, resources, and performance metrics.
- Partner with our IT vendor to ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of the IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and data.
- Support the digital transformation and innovation initiatives of the company.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of the company.
- Oversee the strategy, configuration, and ongoing management of the company’s ERP system to ensure alignment with business operations.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, standards, and best practices that comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Manage and develop a team of IT professionals and vendors, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
- Communicate and collaborate with senior management, business units, and external partners on IT-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or related experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT leadership roles in the industrial construction industry, manufacturing, or a similar sector.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and innovation skills.
- Ability to define corporate vision and strategy, establish company direction and focus, and execute high-impact initiatives to achieve overall corporate goals.
- Experience with SAP strongly preferred, but not required.
- Experience with assessing, onboarding and integrating company acquisitions.
