Location: Kings Bay, GA (relocation assistance available)
Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 annually, plus full benefits
A leading federal contractor is seeking a Construction Site Safety Manager/Trainer (SSHO) to oversee jobsite safety and training programs on large-scale $35M and above construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with EM-385, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements while building a strong safety culture across the team. This is a full-time direct hire position, not a contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily safety initiatives, inspections, and audits on active construction sites
- Deliver safety training and maintain required compliance documentation
- Partner with project teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, high-quality production
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of safety management experience in commercial or federal construction
- Competent Person training in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Trenching/Excavation, PPE, and Scaffolding
- Current OSHA 30-hour, CPR, and First Aid certifications (within past 5 years)
- Professional certifications such as CHST, OHST, ASP, or similar are highly preferred
- MUST be able to pass a background check and a military base security clearance
