Requirements & Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Human Services or equivalent experience (CBIS designation preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in special needs, brain injury, rehabilitation, or behavioral programming
- Previous residential and supervisory/management experience
- Strong decision-making, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must meet all background check requirements
Must Haves (Day-to-Day):
- Lead and oversee care and treatment programs for residents, including life skills training and behavioral interventions
- Ensure compliance with all certification/licensing standards and state regulations
- Collaborate closely with House Coordinators to maintain treatment goals and protocols
- Coordinate medical appointments and oversee healthcare documentation
- Facilitate and attend resident care meetings, neuro-rehab appointments, and risk management reviews
- Partner with Behavior Specialists to develop and implement behavior plans
- Serve in an on-call capacity for emergencies or staff shortages
- Conduct assessments for potential new admissions
- Maintain regular communication with families, guardians, and service coordinators
Preferred Background & Skills:
- CBIS certification
- Experience working with challenging behaviors in residential settings
- Strong ability to train and mentor staff
- Proven success in policy and procedure development
- Experience with quality assurance and program improvement initiatives
