Are you passionate about language, literature, and helping middle school students thrive in a supportive, structured environment? We're seeking a 7th Grade ELA Teacher who is dedicated to making a lasting impact on students with unique learning needs.
This role offers the chance to work in a small classroom setting, supported by a collaborative administrative and instructional team. Our educators are empowered to teach creatively and with purpose—using individualized strategies to guide students in their academic, social, and personal growth.
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned to approved curriculum standards
- Foster reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development
- Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor academic progress and maintain detailed records
- Encourage student participation and create a positive classroom culture
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and teaching assistants to support student success
- Participate in school events, staff development, and meetings
Teacher Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Teaching certification or eligibility preferred
- Classroom experience (minimum of 1 year preferred)
- Experience working with students with learning differences, IEPs, or accommodations is a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must be comfortable teaching within a faith-based curriculum
- Flexible, compassionate, and student-centered approach
