Civil Engineer Project Manager Requirements:
- Manage public works projects, including client coordination, agency communication, scheduling, and budgeting
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure successful project delivery
- Act as liaison between City staff, stakeholders, and technical teams
- Prepare proposals, task orders, scopes, schedules, estimates, and project documentation
- Present to clients, councils, boards, and at public workshops
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee preparation and interpretation of engineering plans, drawings, reports, and technical documents
- Independently manage technical tasks and project responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD or similar software for design work
Civil Engineer Project Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of civil engineering design and project management experience
- PE license preferred
- Strong project management, technical, and communication skills
- Proficient in interpreting engineering plans, reports, and technical drawings
- Experience with street and utility improvement design
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently and deliver excellent client service
Civil Engineer Project Manager Compensation:
- Competitive salary range: $140,000 – $160,000, based on experience and qualifications
