Our client is a private equity-owned manufacturer of engineered to order equipment primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis and reporting. Reporting to the company's Controller, this person is expected to provide strategic insights and recommendations to ensure the company's continued financial health and for other key decisions.
FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:
- Oversee annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Create and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to drive and support operational initiatives
- Present financial reports including variance analysis
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance
- Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Lead initiatives to improve processes, systems and overall efficiencies
FP&A Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA, CPA or CFA a plus
- 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience in a manufacturing company
- Proven success managing processes and development of financial models
- High proficiency with financial planning software; NetSuite experience a plus;
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and MS Power Point
- Must be a Critical thinker in terms of business strategy and proven ability to provide actionable insights
- Experience building out budgets, reporting packages and models (within a PE owned firm, a plus)
