We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter / Site Supervisor to oversee all aspects of on-site carpentry operations for commercial building renovation and construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in carpentry, proven experience managing crews, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Supervise day-to-day carpentry operations on commercial job sites.

·        Lead and coordinate carpenters, apprentices, and laborers.

·        Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.

·        Manage scheduling of materials, tools, and labor resources.

·        Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and project managers.

·        Coordinate with subcontractors for specialized work (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).

·        Oversee and contribute to the hands-on execution of framing, fixture installation, roofing, and finishes.

·        Monitor project progress and adjust resources or timelines as necessary.

Trade Skills & Experience:

·        Advanced knowledge of framing, commercial fixture assembly, cabinet installation, and tile installation

·        Experience in commercial roofing and basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

·        Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents

·        Prior experience leading carpentry crews (residential or commercial required)

·        Strong problem-solving, organization, and leadership skills
