About the Role:
Our client, a growing investment firm in the Boston Metro Area, is looking to expand their Finance team with a Senior Finance Associate focused on Asia-related investment operations. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions for Asia-based deals, specifically for blocker portfolios, using Geneva
- Build and configure investment structures (e.g., special projects, private credit, NPLs, blockers) upon deal funding
- Track and process distributions in Geneva, communicating updates to internal stakeholders
- Prepare distribution files and coordinate wire instructions with the Treasury team
- Collaborate with the Investment Structures Reconciliation team for timely cash activity processing
- Work cross-functionally with Investment Ops and Finance teams to ensure data integrity
- Interpret complex investment structures and accounting implications for reporting accuracy
- Lead and guide an offshore team (2 accountants, 2 reconciliation professionals) supporting Asia-related deals
- Handle ad hoc tasks and urgent requests with efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to work autonomously
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex legal and investment documents
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a solutions-first mindset
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus eligibility: Up to 15%
- Employee Profit Sharing Plan: 14.3%
