Steward (GM) Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary-$130K-$160K
- Healthcare and retirement plan
- 6 weeks' annual holiday
Steward (GM) Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clubhouse operations, food & beverage service, and events
- Ensure compliance with club rules, health, and safety standards
- Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory, and facility inspections
- Supervise 4 kitchen/operations staff
- Hire/manage 10+ service staff for events
- Maintain two properties, landscaping, wine storage, and a parking lot
- Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with undergraduates to create an event calendar
- Plan and execute ~12 major events, ~12 dinners, weekday lunches, and the new member process
- Oversee marketing and communication for all events
- Assist with budgeting and financial oversight (QuickBooks)
- Monitor revenue/expenses, identify savings/revenue opportunities
- Coordinate with the graduate treasurer and external bookkeeper
- Maintain donor databases, website, and communications
- Enhance overall member experience and alumni engagement
Steward (GM) Qualifications
- Education- BS in Hospitality preferred
- Effective communicator
- Problem Solver
- Ability to engage with members and the team
- Familiarity and embrace New England culture
