A premier antique home furnishings showroom is seeking a Sales Manager with interior design experience to lead client sales and visual merchandising efforts across multiple beautifully curated showrooms and warehouse. This role is perfect for a self motivated hands-on sales professional (looking for a future in management) who thrives in high-end retail environments and has a passion for antiques and interior design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and maintain showroom presentation daily (lighting, staging, cleanliness).
- Engage walk-in clients and close high-end sales.
- Communicate with designers and clients via phone, email, and video.
- Send item photos, provide accurate measurements and trade pricing.
- Arrange and stage showroom vignettes and newly received inventory.
- Work collaboratively with a team of 3–5 in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of retail sales experience, preferably with high-end furniture or home furnishings.
- Interior design background strongly preferred.
- Proven success in relationship building and closing sales.
- Strong visual eye for staging and showroom layout.
- Comfortable lifting and moving furniture as part of daily responsibilities.
