Executive Chef Qualifications:
- Proven Executive Chef experience in a fine-dining, upscale Italian restaurant
- New restaurant opening experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a passion for team development
- Creative thinker with a collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence
- Hands-on approach and a deep appreciation for culinary traditions and innovation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of the kitchen and take the lead on the menu creation
- Lead, coach, and mentor the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and consistency
- Oversee all culinary operations, including service periods and special events, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, portion control, and timing
- Monitor and manage food and labor costs, inventory, and kitchen efficiency
- Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain a positive, respectful, and productive kitchen culture
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace professionalism
