Join a prestigious law firm based in the heart of Los Angeles, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in legal services. We are seeking a talented Level 2 Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our IT team and provide exceptional technical support to our attorneys and staff.
The Level 2 Helpdesk Support role is responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless daily operations across the firm’s IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with law firm experience, a strong understanding of legal applications, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets related to hardware, software, and networking
- Support end-users with Microsoft Office 365, document management systems (i.e., iManage, NetDocuments), and legal practice tools (i.e., Time Matters, ProLaw, or similar)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and VoIP phones
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures, including account setups and equipment deployment
- Collaborate with IT team on system upgrades, patch management, and project implementation
- Provide remote and onsite support across multiple departments
- Maintain clear documentation of technical issues and solutions
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of IT support experience, with at least 1–2 years in a law firm environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and Exchange/Outlook
- Experience with legal applications such as document management systems and case management tools
- Familiarity with VPN, remote desktop, and network troubleshooting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate degree or technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) preferred
