Senior Contract Manager Qualifications
- Education -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Pre-Law, or a related field; a Juris Doctor (JD) or MBA preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in construction contract management, project administration, or construction law.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction agreements, including owner–contractor, contractor–subcontractor, and vendor/supplier contracts.
- Demonstrated expertise negotiating indemnity, insurance, LDs, change orders, payment terms, and warranty obligations.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
- Experience supporting projects in commercial, industrial, civil, or perimeter security environments.
- Proficiency with contract management tools (Procore, DocuSign, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, writing, and redlining skills.
- Strong business judgment and ability to balance risk with operational realities
