We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a high-volume portfolio of 800+ B2B customer accounts. This is a dedicated AR role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in collections and customer account management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 800+ B2B customer accounts
- Monitor aging and prioritize collection of past-due invoices
- Build strong relationships with customers and maintain consistent follow-up
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
- Accurately apply payments, credits, and adjustments
- Monitor customer credit limits and coordinate credit increases as needed
- Resolve unapplied payments, short payments, and account issues
- Maintain accurate AR records and account documentation
Qualifications
- Strong Accounts Receivable and B2B collections experience
- Experience independently managing a large, high-volume AR portfolio
- Distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or similar B2B experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of aging, collections, reconciliations, and credit management
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft-based accounting systems
